not exactly sure but I think he was just going too fast when it was too dark and he hit a bump or a pothole and flew over the bars. His front wheel is destroyed so I guess it is possible that it failed first causing him to crash. He went to the hospital and was out of commission for a few days but he'll be fine. Now he has an excuse to buy a new bike as well...
